چکیده
A taxonomic revision of the southern hemisphere pygmy forget-me-not group (Myosotis L.; Boraginaceae) is presented here. Climate-edaphic niches are modelled and compared for five species in group, namely, M. antarctica Hook.f., brevis de Lange & Barkla, drucei (L.B.Moore) pygmaea Colenso glauca (G.Simpson J.S.Thomson) one unnamed putative taxon, “Volcanic Plateau”. In this case, niche-modelling data mostly do not aid delimitation, but morphological genetic provide evidence recognising following three within group: (both endemic to New Zealand), an enlarged (native Zealand, Campbell Island Chile). Myosotis here circumscribed include sens. strict., pygmaea. The two allopatric subspecies recognised on basis minor differences: subsp. (formerly from Chile, Plateau”) traillii Kirk known by Zealand botanists as Colenso, illegitimate name). For all species, which considered Threatened or At Risk, most their variation partitioned between rather than populations, meaning that conserving many populations possible should be priority minimise risk extinction.

Two new species of forget-me-nots ( Myosotis, Boraginaceae) from New Zealand
Two new species of forget-me-nots, Myosotis chaffeyorum C.A.Lehnebach sp. nov. and Myosotis mooreana C.A.Lehnebach sp. nov. are described and illustrated. These species are endemic to New Zealand and restricted to the mountains of north-west Nelson (South Island). Both species are uncommon and Myosotis mooreana is known from the type locality only. Their conservation status is rated as "Nationa...
متن کاملThe Forget-me-not Process
We introduce the Forget-me-not Process, an efficient, non-parametric metaalgorithm for online probabilistic sequence prediction for piecewise stationary, repeating sources. Our method works by taking a Bayesian approach to partitioning a stream of data into postulated task-specific segments, while simultaneously building a model for each task. We provide regret guarantees with respect to piecew...
